Excel Chapter 12
For my last post i just wanted to recap what writing about e business really made me realize. Even though e business is not really comparable to real life business in many ways, in some ways it is. I although think that because of the fact that in e business sales, purchases, advertisements and so much more can be be 10 times faster than in real life there are loopholes bound to exist and surely risks that no one knows of. Writing abou te business was very interesting, especially always finding new and up to date topics really made me research deeper. So this is my way of saying ”GOOD BYE” to our great group topic
This is a perfect example of how just like in real business, in e-business the "big ones" (huge internet domains like google.com) are just as ruthlessly sucking up "the little ones " (smaller search engines, books or websites). Google is becoming more and more dominating and no one will know where their "vacuuming" ( as it is shown in this cartoon) will have an end.
RISK BASED TESTING FOR E-BUSINESS
Risk Based E-Business Testing is a great book or should i say guide for business and e-business.It presents an effective approach for using risk to construct test strategies for e-business systems. The book uses an easy to learn risk analysis technique and teaches the reader how to use risk to select and prioritize test methods for e-business projects.
The book presents twenty-four test techniques that address failure modes found in web applications. Grouped into seven categories, they are organized to make test strategy development easy. Additionally the book offers discussions and recommendations on freeware and shareware.
“I found the book’s risk-based approach compelling and bought the author’s arguments about why the approach is effective, especially in communicating what test does and the state of the product to people outside the test team. ” Paul Gerrard

Big Money or Big Lie ?
I found a very interesting website that claims it has found a loophole to advertising on google. It literaly tells one how to make it from rags to riches, but in my opinion it is really just another scam to get people that believe these kid of websites to eventually be the ones paying some kind of hidden fee that is embedded in some corner ( probably in frontsize 5 ) making them contribute to yet another onlinescam. I always question these sorts of internet “easymoney” businesses, because if it is oh so profitable why don’t they keep their great advertising idea to themselves ?? Furthermore what makes me suspicious is that it starts off as a letter ” hi it’s matt here ” obviously so poeple think there is a real genuine person behind this website who is only trying to help them ! Additionally there is tons of confusing data displayed on the page that one needs to take a careful look at because it also doesn’t seem to be very trustworthy ! So check out the website for yourself, but i defintely don’t see this as a huge loophole in googles advertising world!
Success in the world of e-commerce is clearly not just about expanding the consumer side, it is also about deploying the capabilities of the Internet to improve the efficiency of the production of both goods and services.
Boys will be boys and hackers will always stay hackers !
Onlinebanking and it’s safety is a topic often discussed when it comes to paying online and entering your credit card details into computers. Is giving your credit card details to an online store the same as handing them a blank ckeck for your bank account ? Well, that is surely how some people view it ! Since in former years hackers were all about cracking different games and getting information, their target has surely changed. Since so many transactions and amounts of money are racing through the internet it is a well found target for those looking to make/steal money. In the past one had to rob a bank to steal money, now you just need to press a few buttons and some russian bankaccount will miraculously get money wired to it. This example might be a bit over the top but in real life thats basically all it takes to steal money online. Even though there are many banks and firms working on the safety of online finance, no one seems to view online banking as completely safe. A great article i found states these three things about how online banking is entirely unsafe: 1. Hacking and malware used to be about fun and games, “capture the flag”, and gaining the reputation as the H4x0R Messiah. Boys will be boys, and all that. 2. It’s now shifted to online fraud and theft, where the proceeds likely total in the Trillions of dollars a year, and so the malware creation industry is better funded than the security defense industry. 3. Guess where the money comes from? Hint: Why do you rob banks? It’s where the money is! To read more on of this article visit borepatch.blogspt.com !
